This is a remake of a 30-second title sequence for Baraka and a CD cover for the video.
Baraka revolves around the idea of evolution of human kinds - natural wonder to civilization. The approach of art direction and use of colours is rather contemporary in order to arouse the attention of city dwellers. The opening sequence portrays the essence of the movie with images of pulling strings. The movement of the strings is inflexible and restricted, which highlights its struggle along the way to develop civilization, especially in the last scene. The opening sequence prepares the audience for that experience in a subtle manner.
